Wolverhampton’s Original Patty Company and White Yardie Unite to Send Aid to Jamaica

Wolverhampton’s very own The Original Patty Company, a cornerstone of Caribbean cuisine in the Midlands since 1964, has joined forces with Jamaican-British comedian White Yardie to launch a heartfelt humanitarian campaign supporting communities across Jamaica. Together, they are organising a 40ft shipping container filled with essential supplies — a powerful act of solidarity that reflects the enduring connection between the UK’s Caribbean diaspora and the island they call home.

The striking campaign image, painted in the bold colours of the Jamaican flag, features the iconic Original Patty Co. and White Yardie logos side by side. It symbolises a bridge between generations of Jamaicans abroad and those living on the island — united by heritage, compassion, and the spirit of giving.

The container will include an extensive list of urgently needed items such as:
Food supplies: rice, flour, sugar, cornmeal, cooking oil, canned goods (tuna, mackerel, corned beef, sardines, baked beans)
Infant essentials: baby food, formula, diapers, and baby wipes
Personal care items: feminine hygiene products, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes
Emergency and practical items: bottled water, instant noodles, biscuits, mosquito spray, sleeping bags, tarpaulins, flashlights, portable water filters, and bandages

This drive is being supported by JN Foundation, JN Money, and The Essential Uniformed Fundraiser, with coordination assistance from local community networks and businesses. Together, they are working to make a tangible difference for families in Jamaica facing hardship caused by
